By considering their actual use, our advanced algorithms and software make it possible to prevent critical issues, as well as maximize batteries performance and lifetime. These solutions support all kinds of lithium-ion batteries applications such as Energy Storage Systems, Electric Mobility or Backup Applications (UPS). This technology is based on more than 15 years of research at the famous Research Institute CEA-LITEN and leverages innovative patents related to battery degradation and ageing mechanisms diagnosis.

To support their growth, they are looking for highly motivated and talented individuals to join their Sales team within their Revenue office.

 

The Role

 As Senior Sales Manager, you will contribute to driving our local and international commercial growth:

 Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, including contractual management and upselling.

  • Develop and monitor sales pipelines to ensure order targets are achieved.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial conditions with customers and partners.
  • Ensure proper contractual terms to ensure revenue and profitability targets are achieved.
  • Collaborate closely with our marketing and customer-success teams.
  • Represent PowerUp in leading industry and networking events.

 You will:

  • Work in a collaborative, rapidly growing and high impact start-up environment
  • Thrive in an international professional setting characterized by flat hierarchies, supportive and collaborative teams located in France with rapid development with new affiliates planned in other markets.
  • Use your area of expertise to develop sales serving energy system transformation towards renewable energy domain acceleration.
  • Collaborate with other employees passionate about battery asset monitoring, decarbonization, renewable energy storage and electric mobility.

The Person

 5-10 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in B2B Software sales and/or business development.

  • Proven ability to win new logos
  • A graduate degree in business or engineering sciences, MBA is a plus.
  • Professional experience in startups or greentechs and SaaS business models is a plus.
  • An understanding of renewable energy and battery systems and relevant professional networks to support sales (e.g. on safety, asset management, EV fleet management, utilities).
  • Proven ability to design and implement successful Challenger sales strategies.
  • Integrity and enthusiasm.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills including experience in contractual negotiations.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot.
  • Fluency in English with proficiency in one or several another language (including French) a plus.
