You’ll play a central part in ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and to the highest standards, while working closely with teams across engineering, procurement, construction, finance, and legal.

The Role

As Project Director, you will take ownership of the overall project outcome, managing commercial performance, delivery milestones, quality, and client satisfaction. You will be the key point of leadership across the full lifecycle of each project, ensuring risks are managed early and stakeholders remain aligned throughout.

Key Responsibilities

·       Oversee project mobilisation, execution, commissioning, and handover.

·       Maintain strong client relationships and ensure clear communication at all stages.

Job Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering

·       Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in EPC project management or a similar senior delivery role.

·       Strong background in utility-scale Solar PV projects; BESS experience is highly desirable.

·       Experience in tendering, contract negotiation, and EPC project execution.

·       Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets, cash flow, and margin.

·       Fluent in English; German language skills are highly advantageous.

Desirable Experience

·       Experience delivering projects in Germany or across the EU.

·       Familiarity with German permitting, grid connection, and contractual requirements.

·       Experience working with international suppliers and subcontractors.

·       Project management qualifications such as PMP or PRINCE2.

The Candidate

You’ll be proactive, hands-on, and confident operating in a fast-paced EPC environment. Strong communication, sound judgement, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams will be essential to success in this role.
